Machinery industry growth and future development of situation analysis in 2010

Construction machinery downstream investment in fixed assets to maintain strong, industry demand has increased steadily. 2010, fixed asset investment in railways, highways and large-scale infrastructure construction will be driven by sustained strong momentum, a large number of project investment is bound to give rise to demand for construction machinery. We expect that by 2010 the whole society to maintain 30% growth rate of investment in fixed assets under the premise of construction machinery industry will maintain a 25% -30% of the growth rate. Related species which benefit from the strength in demand followed by excavators, concrete machinery, cranes, loaders, forklifts and so on.

Industry exports accounted for an increase is inevitable. China’s construction machinery industry exports accounted for only about 10%, compared with Japan and South Korea accounted for more than 50% of export data, export trade there is considerable room for development, with the enhancement of comprehensive national strength and its own technological innovation and improvement , the industry exports accounted for the increase is an inevitable trend. Industry, exports are currently at the bottom of the pit stage, a gradual improvement in the external environment of the trend, in 2010 exports are expected to achieve 20% growth rate. Leading a high proportion of export enterprises and export of the region focused on the emerging markets sub-sectors will be the first to benefit.

Industry gross margins in a relatively stable phase. Listed Companies margin maintained at a relatively stable stage, look at the four-year data, the industry average consolidated gross profit margin maintained at 20% -23%, and volatility is relatively small, the sensitivity of the volatility of raw materials relatively low. In 2010 remained steady increase in demand under the premise, we expect the industry average gross margin will be maintained at a relatively stable range, the band is unlikely to be significant.

Focus on listed companies. Weichai Power: benefit from the lower reaches of construction machinery and heavy card growth in fixed asset investment in 2010 to maintain 30% growth rate assumption, the company’s heavy truck and the loader engine will remain optimistic about the demand trend, and expects to be in the in 2010 to maintain 15% -20% growth. Chinese Dragon Workers: benefit from the fixed-asset investment growth, we expect the company loaders in 2010, there will be 10% -20% growth, while the excavator will have 100% growth.
